Creative Countryside Summer Gathering

I always have a fantastic time and meet some amazing people at the Creative Countryside Gatherings, and this summers event didn’t disappoint. Making herb-butters, morning meditations and a quick-stop photography course were just a few of the highlights.

I only wore pieces or prototypes from the new collections too, so it was great to get some lovely feedback from those who attended. Here, I’m wearing one of our Curtain Jumpsuits which will be released later this year - so watch this space if you like what you see.

For me, attending these events is especially important when you’re trying to start your own business. Working alone can become stunted and it’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded folk and bounce ideas around. I always leave so inspired!

I talk more about this in the House of Flint feature in the latest issue of Creative Countryside Magazine if you’re interested - the whole magazine is just a delight to see and read!

Even without the lure of a break from my little studio I still think events such as this are a must for my future sanity - the sense of peace and community found in these seasonal gatherings is definitely worth the journey!
